Kristine's NaNoWriMo Novel-in-Progress

What is NaNoWriMo?

It's National Novel Writing Month, of course!! This year more than 6,000 participants have signed up to write a novel, or at least 50,000 words of a novel, in the thirty days that comprise November. The rules are that writing does not begin before 12:00 a.m on November 1 and all writing--at least as far as the competition is concerned--ceases by midnight on November 30. What is the prize for winning, you might wonder? Zilcho. Unless, of course, you count the sheer rush of adrenaline that cranking out 50,000 words in 30 days might create.

So if you can't find anything worthwhile to read, feel free to check back here daily to read the blather that comes pouring out of me (or worse yet, doesn't come pouring out of me) as I race my fellow novelists toward the 50,000 word mark. I'll also keep a daily log of word count and any tidbits that came up to block me or spur me on in each day's writing.
